The ancient practice of arm balancing & inversions has exploded in popularity over the past decade, just as the 200hr Yoga Teacher Training has also gained popularity. This weekend workshop is a beautiful addition to any teacher training; all who join will leave with more confidence when asked to hands-on assist students in class or in private sessions, & will also be able to teach students to balance safely. The art of teaching hand balancing & inversions is a training that benefits both yoga teachers & yoga students alike. Come & learn the fundamental tools to teach & practice arm balances responsibly for all. 10-hr CEU’s are available from the Yoga Alliance.
About Brittany: I received my 200hr in 2013, & my 300hr training in 2021. After learning about anatomy in greater detail through the 300hr training, (and through co-leading Hamsa’s own trainings), I finally realized so much about my own body, & why I love to go upside down. I underwent a discectomy in 2012 for a severe herniated disk in my L4 (lumbar spine). I had lost some sensation, feeling, & strength in my right leg due to the extensive nerve damage that the herniation had caused. After the surgery, I was brought to Yoga where I rediscovered my love for community, movement, & my body. I still did not have a lot of strength In my right foot, so standing on my hands felt incredibly natural! Through dedicated practice, I discovered peace while on my head or on my hands with my feet in the air. I learned how to calm my mind. I learned to have fun! I am so excited to teach the art of flying with you! Let’s have fun.
