I ventured into yoga unexpectedly. After college I was looking for ‘something.’ I passed by a hot yoga studio and decided to try it. I took my first class and as the sweat rolled down my body, I felt as though I was releasing little by little what I needed to let go. This was the start of my practice. I later understood that yoga is a practice of meditation with movement and wanted to learn more. This is when I decided to complete my 200hr YTT.
Yoga keeps me sane. There is a magnificent connection I feel with my soul. I feel fulfilled and purposeful when I am teaching. My classes are fun, challenging, and creative. They are designed to keep you engaged with your breath while taking some funky poses and vibing to some good music. My intention is to always touch the soul in a positive way by challenging the great intricate capabilities of the body. So expect a lifting energy, cool vibes, challenging flows, and a loving sense of connection.
I enjoy many forms of yoga, but the one most dear to my heart is power vinyasa. It is my hope that you not only experience the challenge of the workout, but also the extraordinary change that occurs as you move with your breath.

We do what we like and teach what we need. I started my practice back in 2013- thanks Groupon! Initially, I was drawn to yoga for the physical practice which I still enjoy thoroughly. It wasn’t until teacher training that I discovered Yin yoga- and I despised it! I had no idea how difficult it was to find stillness and when I did, all my emotions quickly found me. Facing those thoughts has helped me to work through them, which has been one of the greatest gifts I love to share. Aside from being a yoga instructor, I’m a full-time fisheries biologist. As a scientist, my most significant ongoing research involves researching the benefits of combining yoga with wine. It’s all about balance, right?

Chelsea Gates
Chelsea Gates was born and raised in south Florida. She has practiced yoga since her early teens but became certified three years ago so she could share her passion of the practice with others. Chelsea’s power hour is a great lunch break work out flow! Check her classes out Tuesday at noon and where ever a sub is needed!

Dara Gyorko
I have a passion for yoga and healthy living! An art teacher by day, and yoga instructor by night, I can truly say I’m living my passion every day.
I was first introduced to yoga in high school, and started a regular practice through college, after a few years or regular practice I felt called to get my yoga teacher certification, and now I’ve been teaching yoga since July 2017, and loving every moment of it!
I teach a variety of styles including Vinyasa, Hatha, and Yin all over south Florida. With a background and education in the fields of Social Work and Nutrition, I have a deep appreciation not only the physical benefits of yoga asana, but also the mental and spiritual healing benefits; and I strive to incorporate all of these aspects of yoga into my practice.
I find so much joy, love, and light in my yoga practice, and hope to be a part of bringing the same to everyone who comes into my classes.
Outside of teaching yoga, I am a school teacher, and nature lover. You can find me spending my free time at the beach, on the water, doing acro-yoga, and traveling as much as possible.

Eager to learn more about yoga he couldn’t help but fall in love with teaching. A slow flow vinyasa while getting that good sweat in will allow you to reset, reconnect and have you leaving with a smile.
